James Kemp was a member of the [[ot:org:bda]] until 2nd September 2015. From Monday 7th September 2015 he is on loan to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

===== What I do outside my day job. =====
  * I'm a school governor at my local primary school and help by chairing their finance & resources committee, am the lead governor on IT and also part of the Head's evaluation panel. 
  * I'm also an assistant cub scout leader with Clark Pack of the 5th Reigate Cub Scouts.
  * I'm also over half way through a BA in Business and Leadership with the Open University. My current module finishes with an exam on 4th June 2015 and I ought to be finished the degree in 2017 (two more modules to go - [[https://msds.open.ac.uk/students/study/undergraduate/course/b204|B204 - Making it Happen! Leadership, Influencing and Change]] and [[https://msds.open.ac.uk/students/study/undergraduate/course/t317|T317 - Innovation: designing for change]].
  * There are other things too, 
    * I write [[http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crisis-Point-James-Kemp-ebook/dp/B00B3L3VWO|science fiction]] and poetry, 
    * [[http://www.full-moon.info|design games]], 
    * [[http://www.themself.org|blog frequently]] and 
    * spend as much time as I can with my wife and children.
